SICKKIDS (The Hospital for Sick Children)
I regularly work with SickKids, focusing on two key areas. I work with the 3D Printing Department to photograph heart models created from real MRIs, representing both common and unique pediatric pathologies. These models are produced in-house to help surgeons practice specific procedures before entering the OR. Additionally, I capture the annual HOST (Hands-On Surgical Training) course, where surgeons in training from around the world refine their skills on pig hearts and 3D-printed models under the guidance of top SickKids staff surgeons. The images are used on their website to attract future surgeons in coming years to the course. Click either photo to view my portfolio, but be aware that the HOST portfolio contains graphic images of pig hearts.
